It kind of took me by surprise...

But, I'm all smiles today and can't stop thinking about him...

I'm sitting here in J.'s apartment watching I Love Lucy...relaxing before I start getting ready for this afternoon's show.  So...here we go:

I'm over at Starschmucks in Hollywood & Highland abusing their overpriced wi-fi action. I'm actually about to leave. I was supposed to have rehearsal with the cover band I sing with, but that just got cancelled so now I'm heading over to J's to hang out for a bit.

Last night I had a semi-blind date.
A friend of a friend set me up with this guy.  We had exchanged emails the last 2 weeks and I was certain he was genuine and not entirely maniacal.

So, I think I went on a date tonight.  I didn't think I was.  I made a new acquaintance and what had begun as possible afternoon plans became evening plans because my day was too jam-packed.
